Tess van Zalinge will present her new collection ‘momentum’ at studio3000, a unique location in Amsterdam Noord. With a showcase of innovative choreography combined with a diverse cast of models, Tess will present her collection in a way that blurs the boundaries between fashion and performance art.
After its debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week, the collection will be showcased in Amsterdam, with both presentations offering unique perspectives that together fully reveal ‘momentum’.
I composed a soundpiece, titled “étude électronique I”, with recordings taken in Tess her atelier and designed / produced this into an abstract soundpiece with additional sounds (cello & synthesizer), researching time and a creative process, by referring to a classical way of rehearsing music.
For this interdisciplinairy co-creation, I recomposed the piece for the catwalk, “étude électronique II”.
