I did a workshop about sound, with students from the jewelry department at Rietveld Academy. How to compose a soundpiece and find a location at the Rietveld where the sound is played & fits in context to the space. An introduction to instant composing with students’ own recordings. Teaching students to work with sound in one day is quite a challenge, I created a way for them to make it easy and the outcome was a surprise, as 5 groups of students composed one piece together. (based upon low-middle-high sound recordings)
